Restore access without creating a second problem.
A storm-damaged access route needed immediate hazard control, organized removal, and a cleanup that kept the surrounding property protected.
The assignment
Fallen timber, limited access, and a property that still had to work.
The first priority was safe access. The second was making sure the removal sequence did not damage the usable ground, nearby trees, or the route equipment needed for cleanup.
